Warner came to the The University of Alabama in 1985, and graduated in 1989 with a Bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in English. He earned a scholarship in a Ph.D. program in Behavioral Neuroscience at UAB, which he attended for about a year. At that point he decided that his interests lay more in the area of business and helping people through this avenue. He currently serves as President of The Rotary Club of Tuscaloosa. He left the Ph.D. program and went to work for the Boy Scouts as the director of Boy Scout activities in several large Alabama counties. After working for the Boy Scouts for many years, he moved to Tuscaloosa to begin working for Duckworth-Morris Real Estate as a realtor and the resident manager for Essex Square Apartments.
